Antarctica: The Last Marathon

BOOM! Really emotional moment crossing the finish line of the Antarctica Marathon & Half Marathon in 5:50:31.

Proud of achievements on the day following recent illness and tough conditions to now be the first person on the planet to complete the most official marathons across all 7 Continents in 1 year.

We were greeted by wild, wet, windy and cold conditions on my first expedition to Antarctica.

Antarctica is known as the most inhospitable continent on earth for a reason! The Antarctica Marathon & Half Marathon proved to be a real test for all with wild winds, ice, mud and rocks adding to the challenge.

Following the finish I had the great honour and privilege to officially join the Seven Continents Club as the snow started to fall in Antarctica.

During the expedition we were able to experience the awesome beauty of nature in Antarctica.
