I am very excited to be competing in the Cox Providence Rhode Races this Sunday 12 May, and I am very appreciative of the efforts of the race organisers in supporting me and organising my entry this week.

The event is in its sixth year and attracts almost 1400 runners to its relatively flat & fast USATF-certified course. The course runs through historic urban districts of Downtown Providence before heading south towards the East Bay and Barrington rural neighbourhoods of Rhode Island.

Alongside the marathon, half marathon and 5km races, the event has a Kids Race which is a great for for younger runners to be involved in a big weekend of running fun.
